Wellington, FL – Nov. 6, 2017 –The Annual South Florida Hunter Jumper Association (SFHJA) Charity Horse Show celebrates 67 years of great competition and giving. Held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center Nov. 21-26, the US Equestrian Premier, AA-rated show is the highlight of the SFHJA series and has become a popular event for early winter season arrivals.

The organization has raised hundreds of thousands in donations over the years for Equestrian Aid Foundation and other organizations. Funds are raised through sponsorship, advertising and auctions. SFHJA hosts multiple shows throughout the year to raise money for charity.
 
SFHJA will host a Charity Auction Party during the show, Friday, Nov. 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the International Club with food, drinks and great company. All purchases are tax deductible and may be added to the competitors’ show entries. Buy a ticket for this year’s raffle prize, a Silversea “voyage to paradise” on a luxury, all-inclusive, small ship Caribbean cruise. Plus, bid on fabulous live and silent auction packages.

n its 67th edition, the SFHJA Charity Show is offering over $166,000 in prize money, with $75,000 for the hunter divisions and $91,000 to be awarded to the top jumpers. Classes range from lead line to grand prix. Featured classes include:

  • $35,000 Sweet Oak Farm/Spy Coast Grand Prix under the lights
  • $10,000 High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic, presented by Seabrook LLC
  • $10,000 Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic, presented by Hollow Creek
  • $10,000 High Children’s/Adult Jumper Classic, presented by John and Monika Preston
  • $5,000 1.35 Jumper Stake, presented by Gut Einhaus, LLC
  • $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby, presented by PJP Farm and Spring Gathering
  • $5,000 Pony Hunter Classic, presented by Sweet Oak Farm
