GLADSTONE, N.J. – Aug. 3, 2018 – Monmouth at the Team is proud to announce that Equine Billing Services will return to sponsor the $5,000 Welcome Stake, the feature class on Friday, Aug.17. The show is held at Hamilton Farm, headquarters of the U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation, and runs Aug. 12–20.

Equine Billing Services provides client-tailored billing and collection services to help trainers and barn owners focus on the care and training of horses and their clients, while leaving the time-consuming task of handling bookkeeping to the pros.

“What my clients really like is that we design their service to meet their existing business practices,” said Equine Billing Services founder Janet Rizzo. “With other services on the market, the client has to change the way they operate to fit a specific program. What we do is based on our clients’ processes. We find out how you want to operate and do what YOU want.” Equine Billing Services goes above and beyond to cater to their clients’ particular style. Some clients simply call Equine Billing Services with their billing information. Others email spreadsheets and yet some take a photo of their lesson board and text it.

“We can be as high-tech as our clients want, or keep it simple,” Rizzo said.

Equine Billing Services provides a secure, password-protected service and their billing software is efficient, yet easy to understand. The business owner has constant and full access to the billing system. The service includes sending invoices, tracking payment and providing professional client follow-up. Invoicing is efficient and includes a branded header that is unique to each client. The business owner retains the control of all finances, but is relieved of uncomfortable collection interactions.

The staff at Equine Billing Services takes their clients’ privacy seriously and appreciates and upholds the confidentiality of their business relationships. They sign an iron-clad confidentiality agreement with every customer.

“It means we can’t discuss who rides with you, who used to ride with you, what horses you sold to whom, how much you paid for this and how much you got for that. Nothing can be discussed with others.” Rizzo said.

With an MBA in marketing and 24 years of experience in billing and collections in the equine market, Rizzo is well-acquainted with the obstacles facing today’s equestrian business owners. As a lifelong horse owner and rider, she also understands the time commitments of busy equestrian professionals. She knows that doing the billing can be a challenge, especially when on the road at horse shows.

For Rizzo, sponsorship of Monmouth at the Team combines her passion with a valuable way to promote Equine Billing Services. “I will compete again this year,” she said. I’m looking forward to Monmouth at the Team.”
