Visitors experience the spirit of the American West and five-star accommodations at Red Reflet Ranch.

This week on Because of Horses, Elise learns about the Red Reflet Ranch a working cattle ranch and resort.

Nestled in the shadow of the Big Horn Mountains in Ten Sleep, Wyoming, Red Reflet Ranch offers guests the unique opportunity to experience the spirit of the American West on a working cattle ranch while enjoying five-star luxury. Owners Bob and Laurence Kaplan, and Tammy and Clay Trollinger, horse operations coordinators, live on the ranch year-round and enjoy sharing their home with guests from around the world.

Red Reflet Ranch is located at an altitude of 5,000 feet on 27,000 privately-owned, pristine acres. Experienced wranglers and staff offer guests hands-on experiences so they may learn about all aspects of the ranching business. Guests can participate in cattle drives, feedings and help with calf branding. They can also learn about the fundamentals of rodeo events, including barrel racing and roping. And then return to the lodge for fine dining and luxurious accommodations.

When they aren’t riding or wrangling, Red Reflet guests enjoy other activities, including mountain biking, fishing, yoga, hiking, rock climbing or ziplining.

Bob and his wife Laurence are world travelers, philanthropists and pilots, but Red Reflet Ranch is their true love. They enjoy joining guests for most meals, which feature farm-raised beef, chicken, eggs and produce from the ranch’s greenhouses and gardens.

With its perpetually sunny weather, dry air and panoramic views, a Red Reflet Ranch experience offers guests the chance to reconnect with family and friends through adventures, new experiences and old-fashioned rest and relaxation.

Listen to Elise’s conversation Friday, March 8 and learn more about Red Reflet Ranch.
