Fairfield, Conn. — May 2, 2019—The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) selected four members out of 24 applicants for the 2018 IHSA National Championship Candid Photography Internship and the Video Internship. Halley Guptil, Ellyn Narodowy, Nicole Sullivan and Irina Hulse will travel to Nationals May 2–5 at the New York State Fair Expo Center in Syracuse, NY to capture the action behind the scenes. Halley Guptil hails from Clinton Township, Michigan, and is currently a freshman studying Psychology and Sociology with a concentration in Law, Justice and Society at Albion College. She began taking lessons when she was 5, started showing when she was 7, and went to her first rated show when she was 12. Guptil currently competes in the Novice division for her team.
Guptil said, “I am looking forward to IHSA Nationals because this is a unique opportunity to work with other photographers and learning about photography in different settings.”
