With the popularity and success of our Inaugural Online Horse Show, we've developed our Online Horse Show Series with the Spring Showcase shows in February and March.
Spring Showcase I, February 15-25, 2021, has some exciting new opportunities such as:

Spring Showcase II will be March 22-31, 2021 and more information will be available soon!
Put your horsemanship to the test - for FREE! This challenge class, with no entry fee, will recognize equestrians who have exceptional horsemanship knowledge.
Submit your answers to the challenge questions in a video that is under 3 minutes long. Winners will be announced during the Results Celebration, anticipated March 10.

IHSA SENIOR ESSAY ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT Opportunity for graduating seniors, meeting the eligibility requirements for the Senior Academic Achievement Award, to win a $500 prize by submitting a 500-word essay explaining what 'qualities' they've learned while a member of the IHSA that benefitted them during their collegiate years and how it will benefit them in the future.

Greetings everyone,
This is an incredibly challenging time for all our members. Many have been unable to compete and travel and those that have been fortunate enough to compete face a canceled postseason. Please know that the board agonized over this decision and it was based on the well-being of the membership. The good news is that the IHSA has stepped up with some options to continue to learn and compete.
We are offering two great ways to hone your horsemanship skills. First, our affiliate Ringside Pro offers a special discount for IHSA hunter seat members for their Clinics Pro. Submit your video and get feedback from their top-notch USEF judges. IHSA University of Virginia alumna Emma Fass founded Ringside Pro!
Next, Nöelle Floyd has offered her Resilience Master Class with Darby Bonomi, Ph.D. This (free to IHSA!) webinar series is ideal for equestrians facing bumps in the road, as we all do, and learning how to spring back and be even better. This is a fantastic opportunity for all of our members.
I encourage teams to participate in the upcoming online horse shows, Spring Showcase I & II. Everyone who entered the IHSA Inaugural Online Horse Show had great things to say. By the way, the unmounted Horsemanship class is free! It’s an opportunity to compete against teams from across the entire membership. Plus, IHSA will offer (best of two shows, including the Inaugural) a series High-Point Rider Champion and Reserve and Team Champion and Reserve for undergraduate members and High-Point Rider Champion and Reserve for alumni, all for both hunter seat and Western.
