New York – July 8, 2025 – GallopNYC, New York City's nonprofit organization, providing life-changing therapeutic horsemanship programs to children, adults, veterans and seniors, is proud to announce the appointment of Matt Lowe to its board of directors. Lowe brings a unique combination of corporate leadership, equestrian experience and a deep commitment to GallopNYC’s mission.

“We are thrilled to welcome Matt to the GallopNYC board of directors,” said GallopNYC Executive Director Jennie Bucove. “Matt brings professional expertise, a genuine passion for our mission and a profound knowledge of the equine community. His thoughtful leadership and understanding of the transformative power of horses will be invaluable as we grow our programs and broaden our impact. We’re grateful to have him on board.”

Lowe serves as the CFO/SVP of Dechra North America, a global animal health company bringing pharmaceutical solutions to companion animals and equines. He has two decades of experience in corporate finance, investment banking and consulting. Known for his analytical and solutions-oriented approach, Lowe has a proven track record in driving financial strategy and value creation. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth and an MA in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University. 

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Lowe is a nationally-ranked equestrian who competes in the amateur hunter and equitation divisions on the “A” rated circuit. Lowe is also a licensed official with the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and holds his “r” judge’s license. He serves on the Amateur Task Force of the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA).

“As a lifelong equestrian and a parent, I know the profound impact horses can have on confidence, connection and emotional well-being,” Lowe said. “GallopNYC’s mission to make that experience accessible to New Yorkers of all abilities deeply resonates with me, and I’m honored to support this work as a member of the board.”
