New York — Feb. 28, 2025  — GallopNYC, the largest therapeutic horsemanship program in New York City, held a successful fundraising event in Wellington, Florida, on Feb. 13. The event was graciously co-hosted by Olympian Jessica Springsteen and Wembley Farm, home base of Olympic medalist Norman Dello Joio, his wife Jeannie, their son, top FEI rider Nick Dello Joio and their daughter Daniella.

The winter months offer show jumpers an opportunity to regroup physically and mentally. During this break, however, fitness and targeted practice are imperative to maintain your horse’s fitness, enhance their skills, and ensure their overall well-being.

Gladys, Va. – Feb. 11, 2025 – The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association’s (IHSA) leadership expressed their sadness at the passing of Claiborne Bishop. Martha Claiborne Smith Bishop was a dedicated rider, trainer, coach, revered horsewoman and honored IHSA leader. With her husband Tom, she was the recipient of the IHSA Lifetime Achievement Award in 1996. Bishop served on the IHSA board of directors for many years, most recently as a director emeritus.
